Day 1: Hanoi free and take a night train to Lai Cai station ( packed dinner)
Welcome then transfer to your hotel day used. Free to go shopping or visit Hanoi city.
20h00, our guide person will transfer you to the railway station ( by car or taxi provided accordingly) for a night train to Sapa at about 21h15 in 4 berth cabin, soft sleeper with A/C. O/n on train
Day 2: Lao Cai - Sapa - Tram Ton (1900m) Trek to the first base camp (2200) (B,L,D)
Seat In Coach transfer to Fansipan view hotel where you temporarily take a rest
After breakfast in the hotel we will meet our support crew, who will carry all equipment, foods and our clothing. We will carry our day pack with water, jacket and camera only. Today we will begin the first part of our ascent with a trek through terraced rice paddies and some of the hilltribe villages. Setting out from Sapa we descend into the nearby village of Cat Cat and cross Muong Hoa River. Past the river we start our upward trek to reach an elevation of 1,700m where we will have lunch break.
In the afternoon we will continue trek to the first base camp at an elevation of 2,200 m. The terrain in the afternoon becomes steeper and more difficult as we trek through massive Arrowroot plantations and up steeper slopes surrounded by bamboo. Our camp for the evening will be in a very small clearing on the mountain enclosed by bamboo. Sleep at Viet Hung base camp.
Day 3: Viet Hung base camp - final step to 3143m of Fansipan - Viet Hung base camp again (B,L,D)
Today we set out for a full day trek to the top and back to base camp. As we continue on we will pass through primary forest containing giant, century old pine trees and expanses of bamboo. Our trek will take us to an altitude of 2,900m from this elevation we have a spectacular view across to the peak of Mt. Fansipan. The final climb will takes around three hours though dense bamboo forest. Once at the summit we will spend sometime soaking up the best panorama in Vietnam.After lunch we start climb down to an elevation of 2,700m. Our decent will be over large boulders, down a fairly steep slope. Back to Viet Hung base camp. Dinner and overnight at the base camp.
Day 4: Back to Sapa via Sin Chai. Night train to Hanoi (B,L,D)
Today we trek downhill all the way via Sin Chai village. We will reach Sapa around 13h00 time. In the afternoon we will then be free to take quick shower and relax after the climb. In the late afternoon we will be transferred to the railway station for night train to back Hanoi. Overnight in AC soft sleeper cabin
Day 5 : Hanoi - Halong Bay O/N on junk(B)
Arrive in Hanoi early morning, our hotel person will pick you up to your hotel for early check in until 8h00 AM, then connecting with Halong Bay overnight on junk package including lunch, dinner, breakfast on boat. O/n on boat.
AM: pick up at your hotel about 8 AM. Leave for Halong city (170km). Stop over at ceramic and han embroidery workshops in Hai Duong. Arrive in Halong bay; embark a wooden boat for a cruise in Halong bay.
PM; visit some magical grottoes: Sung Sot cave, the fish farm and then stop for a swim or kayak, visit Luon cave, and the islands. Lunch and dinner of fresh seafood are served on boat. O/n on boat in halong bay.
Day 6: Halong Bay - Hanoi (b,l,d)
AM: Early in the morning, enjoy a sunrise cruise in the breathtaking scenery of Halong Bay. Continue on to cruise to Soi Sim beach. Stop for a swim, and then visit the fish farm, Ga Choi, Dinh Huong, Co Don, Cho Da…… then cruise back to harbour. PM: after lunch at restaurant in Halong, return to Hanoi about 5 PM. TIme free. O/N at the hotel in shopping streets
Day 7 Hanoi departure
Breakfast at the hotel then transfer to airport for your onward flight. Return with sweet memories:
