Our tour leader, Son, was fantastic and spent plenty of time explaining things to us. He did plenty of translating for us while spending time with the homestay family. He was an excellent guide for the rest of the tour.

Hi Glory,
I just wanted to provide some feedback on the homestay we did recently while in Vietnam. I must say how much my friend and I enjoyed the homestay. I was worried that it may not be authentic (eg in a town full of tourists), but we were delighted with how it turned out. Our guides were excellent. we were lucky enough to have both Mr jung and Mr Houm (I think) with us.
They were very helpful at all times. We were intrigued to try some of the local cuisine, and the family we satyed with were lovely and very welcoming.
I would recommend this tour to anyone intending on a home stay.
The only suggestion I could make was that it was so hot,. that the ferry across to the other village on Day 2 was a little too much, although this would have been great at other times during the year. Also, I think that on a walking trip, especially in such heat, it would be good to provide water to the customers, as it was a lot to have to pay for on top of the up front fee.

I really enjoyed my time here. Stayed a total of 6days on 2 seperate trips. Friendly staff, helfull. Hao Binh homestay, mai chua homestay tours was amazing.

Dear Robin and all the staff at Vietnam Homestay Specialist. We staying in this friendly hotel was a real pleasure, clean room, splendi, service and a very good location. Even with the hundreds of travel agents around. We found it so much easier to book bus tickets & a tour to Mai chau. Thank for everything. We’ll certainly recommend you to every one we meet!

Dear Lucy, This hotel in our quest for a room in the Old Quarter. It was a good choice! The Hotel very clean and professional services with experienced and enthusiastic staffs. The Mai Chau homestay was great, the homestay accommodation was nice and cozy

Thank you for offering us a wonderful homestay tour to Mai Chau. Everything was great! We were very lucky with the weather. It was clear and sunny. We almost enjoyed four different seasons in a day in the village. The tour guide – Thin spoke very good English. He told us lots of things about the culture, customs and habits in the remote areas. The host in mai chau village is wonderful, the accommodation we stayed overnight is clean and very good to sleep after some hours trekking in the village.
We were very satisfied! Highly recommend you, Vietnam homestay specialist!
