Tour detailed itinerary:


Day 1 Hanoi
Arrival Hanoi and transfer to your hotel. The rest of today is at your leisure to rest and relax or enjoy a brief walking with your guide to explore the incredible Old quarter and charming lakes of Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.


Day 2 Hanoi City tour - a night train to Lao Cai / Sapa (B,L)
A full day city tour of Vietnam’s capital. Hanoi is a unique city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental temples. The city tour includes such sights as Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the Quanh Thanh Temple and the Tran Quoc Pagoda on the edge of West Lake. After lunch at Pho 24 looking into Hoan Kiem lake, continue to the Museum of Ethnology and end the afternoon with a visit to the Lake of the Restored Sword and a cyclo tour of the Old Quarter. In the evening take the night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train.(B)

 
Day 3: Sapa – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Ban Ho (B,L,D)
Early this morning arrive in Lao Cai and transfer along terraced hillsides to Sapa, home to some of Vietnam's most colorful ethnic groups.

After breakfast, commence with a 12 km by jeep then trek down hill to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority. Follow along the side of Muong Hoa stream to Giang Ta Chai village of the red Dzao where we have lunch at a local family. After lunch, we keep hiking to Ban Ho, the village lies in the beautiful valleys, home-stay at the Tay minority house to experience the architecture of their traditional house on stilts and spend time beside them to exchange the cultures and knowledge.

Day 4: Around Ban Ho – Sapa Love market (B,L,D)
2km walking to a very nice waterfall discovered and named “the Lavie” by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy swimming then picnic-lunch on the bank. In the afternoon trek 4 km up to the main road o get the jeep to return to Sapa. O/N at the hotel in Sapa.

Please arrange your travel plan on the Saturday, there is a love market only on every Saturday


Day 5: Sapa - Bac Ha market (on Sunday only) (B,L,D)
Located at 110km from Sapa, Bac Ha mountain town is well-known by travelers with the most colorful market of the hill tribes in the North of Vietnam. This every-Sunday-market attended by at least 8 ethnic groups and last from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. It is also chance for tourists to discover the H’mong King’s palace (old building built by the French & Chinese).

In the afternoon, we go for a light trek to visit Ban Pho, the village is home to flower H’mong minority. We are invited to enter several local houses to have some green tea, corn wine, listen to the host talking about their family, talk to them… and then enjoy landscapes on a roundabout way to Bac Ha for get back to Lao Cai to catch the train to Hanoi. O/N on train.


Day 6: Hanoi arrival – morning market in Hanoi - Halong Bay cruise (B, L,D)
Early arrival in Hanoi (about 4h30 AM). We drive to the flower market shopping every early in Hanoi.

Enjoy the romantic flower market and join the locals in their morning tai chi and aerobics around the beautiful Hoan Kiem (Turtle) lake. End your active morning with a bowl of the traditional breakfast of Bun Moc (noodle soup) and a strong Vietnamese coffee.

After this “Good morning Hanoi tour” we leave Hanoi by road for Halong Bay with a stop en route. Enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life.


Arrive in Halong and board the Huong Hai or Bai Tho traditional sailing junk. Whilst cruising the exquisite waters sample the regions fresh seafood. Visit the recently discovered Surprise Grotto with its great views, and on the next island see the yawning mouth of Bo Nau Cave. Alternatively journey to Dau Go Cave and nearby see the famous stalagmites and stalactites of Thien Cung Cave “ be advised by our tour guide”
Enjoy a swim in the emerald waters of Halong Bay at any spot that you wish to visit. Watch the sun set over the bay whilst enjoying a delicious dinner. Overnight on junk.

 
Day 7  Halong Bay - Hanoi - night train to Hue (B,L)
Wake up to fresh coffee and a wholesome breakfast before cruising back to Halong City. En route the junk weaves through strange-shaped rock formations that invite comparisons from fighting cocks to dragons and even General de Gaulle’s nose! After another wonderful fresh seafood lunch on board disembark at the dock at Halong City. Transfer back to Hanoi and the train station to catch your special train to Hue. Overnight on livitran train to Hue.

Optional: You can fly to Hue and O/n in Hue after the Halong Bay trip. There is only one flight by Vietnam airlines VN 247 Hanoi 19:30 and arrival Hue 20:45 suitable for this itinerary. Flight tickets are always limited for late booking.


Day 8 Hue monument and Dong Ba market(B,L)
Visit the former imperial capital of Vietnam. A boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River visits Hue’s best-known religious site, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the mausoleum of former emperor Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes.
In the afternoon visit the elaborate mausoleums of emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh and the Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. Go shopping in the Dong ba historical markets in Hue. O/n in Hue

Come Hue – Enjoy “royal dinner”

The crucial feature of Royal dinner is a ceremony with a lot of rules that interesting to follows. Before the first drink for the King health, there were a short speech made by servant chief. Everyone has to say "Van tue" (thousand year) to wish the King a long life.

The best Royal music and dance will performed by artists come from Hue conservatory. Nothing better than enjoy a delicious food while listening to melodious music and having a feeling of being the King. That why, Royal dinner is a must for everyone whoever came to Hue.


Day 9 Hue - Hoi An colourful market (B)
Leave Hue for Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years The scenic route passes through the wonderfully photogenic fishing village of Lang Co before passing the Pass of Ocean Clouds. In the afternoon take a walking tour of the ancient town centre to visit the former merchants’ homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colourful market. Overnight in Hoi An.


Day 10 Hoian fishing, gardening & biking tour (B,l)
FARMING TO FISHING LIFE ECO- TOUR  ( 6 hours)
Morning at 8: 30a.m, Afternoon at : 1:30 p.m

is a very special tour which is promised to  bring visitors the most beautiful sceneries of the countryside about the Farmer and Fishermen’s life in Hoi An town – Viet Nam . By exploring the typical and narrow roads along the countryside by bicycle to see such as water buffalos, rice paddle field, plenty of organic vegetables and local farming people like soiling and watering vegetables, you will be amazed to realize how the sceneries peaceful and friendly people are. Transferred back to your hotel by Van then free to go shopping in Hoian ancien town in the afternoon. O/N in Hoian


Day 11 Hoian -  Danang – HCMC – Cu chi tunnels (flight)
Transfer to Danang Airport after breakfast for the short flight to dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals.

we will drive to the Cu Chi tunnels to see the amazing tunnels of Vietcong during American War and then return to Saigon. Time at leisure. O/N in HCMC


Day 12: HCM city tour & markets (B,)
This city tour takes in the city’s bustling Chinatown and begins with a visit to the Thien Hau Temple, the lively Binh Tay Market & Ben Thanh market. Then visit a lacquerware factory to witness workers continuing a Vietnamese ancestral tradition, the War Museum and the former Presidential Palace,  the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall. After this historical visit,  exploring the trendy boutiques on Ton That Thiep Street. O/n in HCMC.


Day 13: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho  - Can Tho - Home stay (B, L/D)
We will pick you up from your hotels then drive to My Tho pier, cruising along small creek to Mekong River estuary, to Con Phung (Phoenix Island) and stop over a garden restaurant for a special lunch. After lunch, the motorized boat cruise along natural creeks and quiet village in Ben Tre Province. Visit orchards, bee - keeping farm, taste natural honey and honey wine, enjoy tropical fruit, traditional music, see round a distillery, explore the local coconut candy production process, taste candy & coconut pulp. Then transferring to Can Tho. Dinner and Home stay on the island

 
Day 14: Cai rang floating market - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
Starts from Ninh Kieu boat quay, we cruise along the small and picturesque tributaries, we will see the Cai Rang floating market

(6 kilometres from Can Tho in Mekong river; the largest floating market in the Mekong and the traders are more motorised , the best floating market in the Mekong Delta. Bustling floating markets on the Hau River at Con Khuong, Con Son and further afield, Con Tan Loc in the more prosperous Thot Not District.)

Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who lives along the Mekong canals and you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodles making shop. A chance to discover the daily life of Vietnamese people in Mekong Delta. Have lunch at local restaurant before coming back to Ho Chi Minh City.


Day 15 – Depart Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Departure day. At leisure for shopping until transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for onward flight. The tour ends
